MIAMI, FL January 4, 2008
OffshoreAlert has opened registration for its 6th Financial Due Diligence Conference, to be held at the Fort Lauderdale Grande Hotel & Yacht Club on April 14-15, 2008.
The title of this year's conference is 'The Unexpurgated Offshore', a phrase chosen because our event will take a comprehensive and uncensored look at the complex world of offshore finance, both the good and the bad.
Much of the conference will comprise three concurrent tracks called 'Compliance 101'; 'Jurisdictions 360°'; and 'Offshore A-Z'.
Compliance 101 will specialize in showing financial institutions how to set up and implement a system to meet international compliance standards and reduce general business risk.
Jurisdictions 360° will take an in-depth look at specific international financial centers, including the Bahamas, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Russia, and Dubai.
Offshore A-Z will deal with offshore products, such as hedge funds and insurance; liquidations, and asset recovery.
Interspersed with the concurrent sessions will be general sessions, including those entitled 'My Way or the Highway: Is the United States Regulating Itself out of Business', 'How to Utilize Offshore Financial Centers WITHOUT Breaking the Law', and 'Steps OFCs Must Take to Thrive in the Modern Era'.
Sign-up on or before February 22, 2008 to receive the best price, i.e. $995 for OffshoreAlert Subscribers and $1,095 for Non-Subscribers, rising to $1,195 and $1,495, respectively, after this date.
